• Adam Entous, Julian Barnes: U.S. Military Proposes Seeks Shorter Afghanistan Stay

    With President Karzai dragging his feet on the proposed Bilateral Security Agreement, U.S. military leaders have begun formulating plans that will allow for a limited U.S. presence in Afghanistan after 2014. One such proposal plans to keep 10,000 U.S. troops intended to help train the Afghan Army while allowing for the U.S. to withdraw from it’s lengthy involvement in Afghanistan.
