CNN’s Intelligence Correspondent Suzanne Kelly, and ASF moderator, interviewed Fran Townsend, ASF speaker and former Assistant to George W. Bush for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, on the White House’s efforts to combat terrorism and related threats during her time at the White House. In the interview, Ms. Townsend provides some insight on the role of the assistant to the president, how often the President is briefed on current threats, and on the most persistent threats that span over presidential administrations.
