Action in Syria is increasing apace as nations continue to search for a solution to the bloody civil war that has so far killed over a quarter of a million citizens and displaced thousands more. Meeting in Vienna, nearly twenty countries have opened formal diplomatic discussions to find solutions to the rapidly deteriorating state of war-torn Syria. Iran, however, has threatened to depart from the talks over the role of their longtime rival, Saudi Arabia.
