Margaret Brennan

Biography
Margaret Brennan is a Correspondent for CBS, principally assigned to the State
Department.
Most recently, Brennan anchored Bloomberg Television’s “InBusiness,” a daily
program that covered the top news impacting the global marketplace. She
anchored live from Tahrir Square as Hosni Mubarak stepped down after 30 years
in power.
Previously, Brennan served as a correspondent at CNBC. She reported for NBC’s
“Today” and “Nightly News.”
Brennan is a Whitehead Fellow with the Foreign Policy Association and a
member of the Economic Club of New York. She graduated with highest
distinction from the University of Virginia, with a degree in foreign affairs and
Middle East studies. A Fulbright-Hays Scholar, she studied Arabic at Yarmouk
University in Jordan.
