Biography
Suzanne Kelly joined CNN’s national security unit in 2011 and is co-founder and co-editor of CNN’s national security website.

Prior to joining the national security unit, Kelly worked in CNN’s Atlanta headquarters as an executive producer, serving as an editor for CNN correspondents around the world.

Kelly is the author of Master of War: Blackwater USA's Erik Prince and the Business of War (HarperCollins). Published in 2009, the book is the only insider, objective account of the rise and fall of the private security company now formerly known as Blackwater.The Army War College currently uses the book as part of its curriculum for its Advanced Strategic Art program.

Kelly earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in journalism from Michigan State University.
