    President Obama has approved the nomination of Vice Admiral Michael S. Rogers to succeed General Keith Alexander as Director of the National Security Agency and the Pentagon’s cyberwarfare organization, according to inside sources. VADM Rogers is described as “uniquely qualified” to lead the embattled agency with his experience heading Fleet Cyber Command, a Navy cybersecurity division that is also beholden to U.S. Cyber Command.
