Biography

Rahaf Safi is a humanitarian aid practitioner. Previously, she was based in the Middle East working directly with refugees, displaced persons, and host communities through international and local organizations. Her work and research focus on civil society, civilian protection, and crisis response. Rahaf holds a master’s in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where she was a Topol Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. She is also a Harry S. Truman Scholar and received her bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and political science from Indiana University.
