Biography

Christo Grozev is an award-winning investigative journalist and film-maker. Since 2015, he was lead Russia investigator for Bellingcat, focusing on security threats, extraterritorial clandestine operations, and weaponization of information. His team identified a GRU unit that engaged in poisoning and sabotage ops across Europe, the FSB unit that poisoned Alexey Navalny and other political opposition figures, an FSB unit that assassinated several Chechen dissidents overseas, and many sleeper agents operating in Europe and the Americas.Christo holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the American University in Bulgaria and an execMBA in Finance, and has a Law and Economics masters degree.
